General Summary:
The Inventory Specialist oversees all control tasks and supervises all inventory activities to ensure the completion of any daily tasks necessary for the operation of the dispensary. Responsibilities include interacting with customers and suppliers to fulfill inventory demand, intake deliveries and process invoices through our POS system, monitor inventory flow and record retention, generate inventory and sell through reports, follow and implement BCC regulations, rectify miscalculations, perform cycle counts and replenish low stock inventory on the sales floor.

- Follow assigned daily tasks and assignments from supervisors
- Maintain compliance in accordance with the Bureau of Cannabis Control
- Receive products during deliveries and ensure state requirements are met
- Process invoices into POS system
- Efficiently label and tag received products
- Record and monitor all items with shelf-life on a daily basis
- Ensure segregation and disposal of outdated, damaged, deteriorated, misbranded or adulterated cannabis products
- Monitor and maintain inventory; ensuring data is entered and accurate in METRC and POS system
- Follow inventory reconciliation procedures and perform weekly cycle counts
- Audit and assess METRC tags
- Maintain record retention for all invoices, manifests, COAs, return and waste logs and monthly inventory reconciliation
- Replenish low stock inventory on sales floor
- Report to management of any out of stock inventory
- Schedule staff training and vendor demonstrations with sales or brand representatives
- Communicate and maintain vendor relationships through email, phone and in-person meetings
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Expected hours of work:
- This is a full-time or part-time position.
- Weekends and holidays are expected to be worked.
- Typical work days and hours are between Monday through Sunday, 3:00 a.m. to 11:59 pm.
- Frequent overnight shifts. Schedules are subject to change.

- Ensure excellent experience for every vendor by providing unmatched customer service, starting with: sincerely welcoming every vendor in a timely fashion, maintaining outstanding standards in words, actions and all visual presentations beginning in the parking lot and continuing all the way into our facility, followed by personal appearance.

- Promote and monitor quality service among co-workers through training and acting as a positive role model.
- Initiate seamless customer service by making every effort to find merchandise for customers if the item is not in stock.
