Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you will play a vital role in the maintenance and repair of plant equipment at an industrial facility. Your expertise in electrical, welding, and instrumentation will be essential to ensuring safe and efficient production by responding to changing conditions promptly.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and heat exchangers.

• Execute preventive maintenance and welding tasks to ensure equipment reliability.

• Conduct mechanical repairs and building maintenance as needed.

• Monitor and adjust control panels to regulate process variables such as flows, temperatures, and pressures.

• Identify malfunctioning units through observation of control instruments and warning signals.

• Inspect equipment to locate and diagnose issues like leaks and faulty valves.

• Coordinate maintenance and repair work directly with production teams.

• Patrol units to verify safe and efficient operating conditions.

• Assist with new installations and projects as directed by the supervisor.

• Collaborate with contractors to plan and implement new equipment installations.

• Participate in safety, health, and environmental programs to ensure plant cleanliness.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical skills in industrial maintenance, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Experience in welding and electrical maintenance repair.

• Understanding of preventive maintenance practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required.

• Three to five years of experience in electrical or instrumentation maintenance and repair.

• Familiarity with plant operational processes and procedures.

• Experience with industrial equipment operations and care.

• Basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic experience.

• Forklift and manlift experience.

• Knowledge of PPE's, Fall Protection, and Lockout Blockout procedures.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work with diverse groups and all organizational levels.

Work Environment

This position operates in an indoor-outdoor facility that can be dusty, dirty, and subject to temperature variations. The plant primarily produces feed for cow and dairy cow food. A new manager is committed to improving operations with a safety-first approach.

This is a Permanent position based out of Buckeye, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
