Position Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor, under the supervision of the Manager and/or Director, plans, directs and coordinates the operations of the organization. The Sueprvisor is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.

What you'll do:
  • Oversees the activities of all functions involved in the planning, warehousing and control of materials -- from the development of forecasted replenishment needs to the delivery of the product into finished goods inventory and delivery of products to customers
  • Maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement, including USDA and FDA regulations
  • Participates in existing and new product planning processes to ensure timely acquisition of materials to support product launches
  • Oversight of all warehouse operations
  • Manages warehouse operations to maximize efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy of delivery of finished goods to customers
  • Executes special projects in a timely manner.
  • Assists with establishing annual goals and objectives, in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Hires candidates, coaches and mentors effectively, and builds strong teams
  • Collaborates easily with all levels of the organization and serves and contributes as a member of the organization's Executive Management Team
About you:
  • Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university)
  • In lieu of degree, minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Minimum five years related experience in a high level management position with P&L responsibility
  • Produce and/or food distribution experience required
  • Working knowledge of USDA & FDA compliance

  • Supervisa el flujo de trabajo diario de Operaciones.
  • Se asegura de que la oficina esté abastecida con los suministros necesarios y de que todo el equipo funcione y se mantenga adecuadamente.
  • Trabaja con el equipo de Contabilidad y Administración para establecer presupuestos, controlar los gastos y procesar la nómina y otros gastos. Controla los costos y los gastos para ayudar en la preparación del presupuesto.
  • Prepara comunicaciones, como memorandos, correos electrónicos, facturas, informes y otra correspondencia.
  • Planifica, programa y promueve eventos de la oficina, incluidas reuniones, conferencias, entrevistas, orientaciones y sesiones de capacitación.
  • Redacta y edita documentos, desde cartas hasta informes y documentos instructivos.
  • Crea y mantiene sistemas de archivo, tanto electrónicos como físicos.
  • Administra cuentas y realiza tareas de contabilidad ligera.
  • Organizar viajes, como reservar vuelos, automóviles y hoteles y restaurantes.
  • Generar informes, transcribir actas de reuniones, crear presentaciones y realizar investigaciones.
  • Anticipar las necesidades de los demás para garantizar una experiencia positiva y sin problemas.
  • Supervisar los servicios de las instalaciones y las actividades de mantenimiento.
  • Organizar y supervisar otras actividades de la oficina (reciclaje, renovaciones, planificación de eventos, donación de sangre, etc.).
  • Asegurarse de que las operaciones cumplan con las políticas y regulaciones.
  • Realizar un seguimiento y entregar uniformes a todos los empleados dentro del área de operaciones.

  • Se puede preferir o exigir que hable varios idiomas.

  • Se prefiere licenciatura.
  • 5 años de experiencia.
  • Mínimo cinco años de experiencia relacionada en un puesto de gestión de alto nivel con responsabilidad en pérdidas y ganancias.
