Verovian Nursing Recruitment Agency is seeking a dedicated Credentialing and Privileging Specialist to join our team in Rapid City, South Dakota. In this non-clinical role, you will be responsible for managing the credentialing, privileging, enrollment, proctorship, and orientation processes for Medical Staff and other providers. You will also act as a recording secretary for department meetings and provide essential support to staff as needed.

  • Process new and reappointment applications, including credentialing, licenses, and verification checks.
  • Assist with the credentialing and privileging process and support the Medical Staff Coordinator.
  • Communicate and prepare reports, memos, and correspondence for the VPMA and Medical Staff.
  • Coordinate orientation, and proctorship, and monitor expirations of required documents for providers.
  • Prepare agendas and record minutes for medical staff and committee meetings.
  • Manage provider enrolment, and applications, and maintain compliance with necessary regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate requirements A High School Diploma or GED equivalent in General Studies is required. Associate degree in Healthcare or a related field preferred. No certifications are required for this role. A minimum of 3 years of experience in credentialing and privileging within a healthcare setting is preferred. Proficient in credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Knowledge of accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in credentialing.
