Job Overview
The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology and possess or qualify for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Fellowship training or substantial experience in obstetric anesthesiology is required. Position Highlights
- General and obstetric position
- Schedule: physician daylight coverage M-F 6:30 AM u2013 3:30 PM (General); M-F 6:30 AM u2013 7:30 PM (OB)
- Call: All days - beeper call and in-house OB call, 7:00 PM u2013 7:00 AM
- CRNA supervision, 3:1 concurrency target
- Hospital has 16 anesthesiologists and 45 CRNAs
- Academic appointment: yes
