Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Systems Analyst / Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with ReconNet or similar account reconciliation tools, batch processing, and compliance-related technologies, including PCI standards. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated data processing systems, secure file transmission, and reporting tools in alignment with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ReconNet Process Management: Administer and support ReconNet processes, including configuring rectypes, managing report distribution, and maintaining security structures.
  • Software Development: Build and maintain scalable C#/.NET applications (web, desktop, or cloud-based) using frameworks like ASP.NET Core, .NET 6/8, or MVC, participating in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements analysis to deployment. Write and maintain C# code, Bash, Windows scripts, and SQL queries.
  • System Integration: Develop and implement APIs (RESTful, SOAP) and integrate with databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and third-party systems like Coupa or Oracle.
  • Batch Processing: Design, develop, and maintain batch processing jobs to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure systems and processes comply with PCI 4.0 or ISO 27001 standards to meet security and regulatory requirements.
  • UFP File Management: Develop and maintain Universal File Processor (UFP) file definitions and mappings for accurate data handling.
  • Secure File Transmission: Utilize scripting (e.g., Bash, Windows scripts) to facilitate secure file transfers across systems.
  • Control-M Integration: Work with Control-M in mainframe and distributed environments to schedule and automate batch jobs.
  • Authentication Solutions: Implement and integrate authentication mechanisms using Active Directory (AD) for secure access control.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code, perform code reviews, and adhere to best practices for security and scalability.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in Agile/Scrum teams, partnering with product managers, QA testers, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve software defects using tools like Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps.
  • Mentorship: Provide occasional guidance to junior developers to support their technical development.
Must Have Skills

ReconNet (or similar account reconciliation tool) Expertise
  • Proficient in ReconNet, including:
    • Understanding rectype and security structure configuration (group and rectype setup).
    • Building and distributing reports.
    • Knowledge of file and data structures for reconciliation processes.
    • 1-3 years of hands-on experience with ReconNet or similar reconciliation tools (e.g., IntelliMatch, BlackLine).
Core Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and MVC for developing scalable applications.
  • Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORMs like Entity Framework.
  • 5+ years of software development experience, preferably with financial reconciliation systems.
  • Develop and implement APIs (RESTful, SOAP) and integrate with databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and third-party systems like Coupa or Oracle.
Tools and Practices
  • Version control using Git and GitHub for code management.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira and Confluence for sprint-based development.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform for deployment and management.
  • Batch processing: designing, creating, and maintaining efficient batch jobs.
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting (Linux) and Windows scripting for automation.
  • Strong RDBMS skills, particularly with SQL for querying and data management.
  • Experience with Control-M in mainframe and distributed environments for job scheduling.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory (AD) for SaaS authentication and access control.
  • Familiarity with tools for automated file transfers.
  • Understanding of PCI 4.0 or ISO 27001 compliance, including:
    • User access control on restricted servers.
    • Familiarity with CipherTrust for security management.
  • Experience with Universal File Processor (UFP):
    • Creating file definitions.
    • Converting and mapping file formats to ReconNet.
Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in cross-functional Agile teams.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Builder, or AI-related technologies (e.g., Open AI, RAG).
