Job Description: RMG Management, a leading Real Estate Management Company, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accurate financial records for multiple real estate properties.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
- Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for each property.
- Collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate tracking of expenses and income.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist with audits and financial inspections as needed.
- Provide support to the accounting team in various financial projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the real estate industry.
- Proficient in using accounting software, such as RENT MANAGER.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) are a plus.
Pay Range: $60,000 to $70,000
If you are hired at RMG Management, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
