Position: Shipping Clerk
Location: Moorpark, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

Overview:
 Our client, a well-established distribution company, is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join their warehouse team. This role will assist with preparing, labeling, and processing outgoing shipments, maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process outgoing shipments and record data in the system

  • Use RF scanners, computers, and printers to prepare shipping labels and documents

  • Inspect outgoing packages for quality and accuracy

  • Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and loading of shipments

  • Track and update shipment statuses

  • Assist with troubleshooting shipping issues as needed

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations

  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, shipping software such as UPS Worldship a plus)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks
