Job Description:
Focus Area : ServiceNow Discovery and Asset Discovery
• Lead and execute ServiceNow Discovery and Asset Discovery initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategies.
• Design, develop, and implement Discovery solutions using ServiceNow platform capabilities, including MID Server configurations, Probes, Sensors, and Patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define scope, and architect robust solutions that meet business needs.
• Lead hands-on technical activities, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts by evaluating new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance Discovery capabilities and efficiency.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow Discovery, providing technical expertise, troubleshooting support, and driving resolution of complex issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data normalization, reconciliation, and enrichment processes to ensure accurate and reliable asset data.
• 6+ years of experience in hands-on development and implementation of ServiceNow Discovery solutions.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, and other relevant programming languages and technologies.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Discovery certifications preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
