Sonographer - Per Diem - Encinitas

This is a casual (per diem) position with 10-hour varied shifts. Candidates must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and participate in the call rotation with staff. On-call coverage is from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. and requires four call shifts per month, including at least two weekend shifts. This role also provides coverage for PTO and sick time as needed. The position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- One of the following: 1) Associate of Science Degree Certification in Ultrasound in a school that is accredit. 2) Successful completion of a formal educational program in an AMA approved school of ultrasound with a minimum of 500 hours of clinical in the specialty required. 3) Registered in the specialty that you are applied for by ARDMS or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with at least 1 year of full-time experience required ARDMS or CCI
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- ARDMS certified in Abdomen or OB/GYN
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Neonatal Heads, IR and ED patients.
