Furniture Enterprises of Alaska's Display Team provides excellent support to each of our furniture and bedding stores by keeping our showroom displays looking amazing This position is part of a highly motivated team working in a fast-paced environment. It is a physically demanding job that involves carrying sofas and other large furniture items in our showrooms.

Details:

  • $21.00 Per Hour to Start
  • Full Time, Monday-Friday (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • PTO (104 Hours)

Responsibilities:
  • Pulling of merchandise to/from the warehouse and showroom floor.
  • Set up and take down displays.
  • Arranging furniture/product for displays, including but not limited to hanging art, lighting, and painting.
  • Complete paperwork for items moving on/off the showroom floor.
  • Conducting minor showroom floor item repairs.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Lift between 70-90 lbs. consistently.
  • Be dependable, and punctual.
  • Capable of carefully handling merchandise.
  • Clean Driving Record.
  • Shown ability to develop and foster working relationships with both management team and staff.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Some travel between stores is required.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and background check.
