Therapist I: $30.00 Hourly, $62,400 annually
Therapist II: $34.00 Hourly, $70,720 annually
Bilingual add-on: +$1.00/hour for fluency in Spanish or Mixteco

Brigid Collins is seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated therapist to support children and families impacted by trauma. We are hiring for a Therapist I (associate licensed) or Therapist II (independently licensed) depending on experience, and we welcome applicants at different stages in their clinical journey.
What You'll Do
As a therapist at Brigid Collins, you'll play an essential role in helping children and caregivers heal from trauma. You will:
- Provide trauma-informed individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based models that support resilience and recovery.
- Complete clinical assessments, develop and update treatment plans, and adapt interventions as needed to support each family's unique goals.
- Deliver services with cultural humility, meeting the needs of diverse families experiencing multiple stressors with compassion and respect.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, including case notes, treatment plans, billing, and reports.
- Actively participate in the Children's Advocacy Center multidisciplinary team, collaborating with partners such as medical providers, child protection, law enforcement, and other community agencies.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with caregivers, referral sources, and community partners.
- Engage in regular clinical supervision, consultation, and ongoing training to support high-quality care and your own professional growth.
- Help families connect to additional supports by providing warm hand-offs and resource navigation.
- Provide consultation, case staffing support, and task supervision for associate-level therapists and interns.
- Assist Clinical Supervisors with case assignments and onboarding new clinical staff.
- Serve as an advanced clinical resource within the multidisciplinary team and help foster a strong learning environment.
- Ability to consistently meet established productivity, documentation, and quality benchmarks.
- Strong understanding of child development, trauma, and family systems.
- Skilled in child and family assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention.
- Ability to communicate clearly, compassionately, and effectively with children, caregivers, and community partners.
- Capacity to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical practice-especially in high-stress or emotionally complex situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and to navigate complex community systems with ease.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Humility, cultural responsiveness, and the ability to engage and support diverse, multi-stressed families.
- Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed to meet with families at times that work best for them.
- A valid WA State driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and ability to travel throughout Whatcom and/or Skagit Counties to provide accessible services to families.
Therapist I
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Washington State associate license (LMHCA, LMFTA, or LSWAIC), or eligibility to obtain within six months of hire.
- Experience in child and family therapy or trauma work preferred.
- Interest in learning and implementing evidence-based trauma treatments.
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Independent Washington license (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW).
- At least three years of experience providing trauma-focused therapy to children and/or families.
- Proficiency in at least one evidence-based practice for childhood trauma; multiple EBPs preferred.
- Experience mentoring or supporting associate-level clinicians is a plus.
