Customer Service Specialists engage with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and provide tailored recommendations. These specialists play a key role in promptly addressing customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction, while also keeping up-to-date with product features and adhering to our high-quality visual standards.

Job responsibilities include interaction with customers, including minors, and involve access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, and valuable store merchandise, which may occur under supervision or independently as necessary. Consequently, a review of criminal history is mandated to safeguard the business, its operations, and the safety of our customers, staff, vendors, and the public.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assisting customers in person and via phone, assessing their needs and presenting suitable products and services
• Building productive trust relationships with customers
• Processing sales transactions accurately and adhering to company policies
• Meeting and striving to exceed sales goals regularly
• Maintaining organized work order files and formulas
• Collecting appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Tinting and mixing products according to customer specifications
• Stocking shelves and creating engaging displays
• Cleaning store equipment
• Loading/unloading delivery trucks as necessary
• Assisting with deliveries, if required
• Keeping assigned areas well-stocked and presentable
• Staying knowledgeable about product offerings and their options
• Following inventory control procedures
• Providing suggestions to improve sales

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Legal authorization to work in the country without sponsorship
• A valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly, and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Willingness to work all scheduled hours including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one (1) year of experience in a retail or customer service role
• Previous experience with paint and related products
• Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment
• Multilingual abilities are a plus
• Spanish language skills are highly valued
