Clean Harbors in North Kingstown, RI is looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to join the team The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repairs at the facility (no travel is required) industrial processing equipment. We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual with an excellent commitment to health & safety. Drivers License is required.
Work Schedule: 2nd Shift 2:30 pm-11:00 pm Monday- Friday

- Disassemble/Reassemble facility equipment to examine or repair
- Performing preventive maintenance such as changing the oil and servicing the coolant.
- Determine cause of malfunctioning systems and perform repair or replacement of defective component(s)
- Monitor equipment to ensure all repairs and testing are completed to insure proper operation
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Hydraulic system repair experience
- Maintenance mechanic experience
- Heavy equipment repair experience
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Valid Drivers' License
- Ability to use a cutting rig
- Ability to successfully pass mechanical aptitude testing
- Proficient with computers and systems
- Knowledge of the industry's latest technology or having experience working with electronics
- Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards
