Responsibilities:

Our Dental Hygiene Specialists are essential in providing direct dental care and associated services under the dentist's supervision and supporting the overall office environment.

  • Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
  • Conduct direct patient care, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride applications, and related procedures
  • Provide outstanding customer service by identifying opportunities for Same Day Care
  • Educate patients and parents on effective oral hygiene practices
  • Assess patients' dental condition and review their medical histories
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and company standards
  • Guide parents and patients through the treatment process
  • Assist with dental and perio charting when necessary
  • Take x-rays and store them in patient charts as needed
  • Offer memorable patient experiences by demonstrating compassion

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
  • CPR (BLS) certification from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment (required upon hire)
