Job Description

Selectek is seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join our team and lead the design of commercial land development projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from concept through construction administration while working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Needs to be a true designer and able to run commercialland development projects independently.
  • Design of commercial land development projects
  • Perform site design tasks including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion/sediment control
  • Complete calculations and analysis to support project designs
  • Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Collaborate with clients and team members from schematic design through construction administration
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in all aspects of site design (layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater, erosion & sediment control)
  • Familiarity with current codes, design guidelines, and stormwater management practices
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D
Preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Experience in the design-build and commercial development industry
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00+/hr ($83,000 - $104,000+)
Term: 6-months temp to perm OR Direct Hire
