Join our team as a Retail Customer Service Associate In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in our retail operations. Starting pay is $18.78/hr, with compensation based on experience. You will work at Store #3211, located at: 2979 Watertower Place, Arboretum Bus. Pk, Chanhassen, MN 55317.

As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you will collaborate with both wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about our products, and recommend suitable solutions. Your goal will be to ensure maximum customer satisfaction while achieving the store's sales targets.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through reliable sales assistance.
  • Help customers in-person and over the phone by understanding their needs and offering the right products.
  • Build and maintain strong trust relationships with customers.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals on a consistent basis.
  • Maintain detailed records of work orders and product formulas.
  • Efficiently manage stock, including pulling products from inventory and mixing as necessary.
  • Keep store displays neat and engaging for customers.
  • Assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks and making deliveries.
  • Keep your designated areas well-stocked and presentable.
  • Stay informed about product offerings to assist customers effectively.
  • Adhere to inventory management procedures.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance sales.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work without needing sponsorship for employment visa status.
  • A valid, unrestricted Driver's License is required.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • For current Sherwin-Williams employees: must have a recent performance rating of at least meets expectations.
  • Must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a retail or customer service position.
  • Experience selling paint and related products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language is an advantage.
  • Spanish-speaking skills are highly desirable.
