Electrical Project Manager

About the Role
A well-established electrical contracting firm is seeking an Electrical Project Manager (PM) with strong field experience and a solid understanding of commercial and light industrial electrical work. This is not a paperwork-only position - we're looking for someone who understands how the job gets done in the field and can lead projects from start to finish with confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from planning through completion
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and change orders
- Coordinate with clients, field teams, and management to ensure successful project delivery
- Handle small pricing tasks and respond to emergency project needs when required
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
- 8-10+ years of experience in the electrical field
- Strong field-based background - not just administrative or office PM experience
- Proven ability to handle commercial and light industrial projects
- Proficiency with general project management tools, email, and standard computer applications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Consistent work history - long-term tenure preferred
