Overview
GovCIO is seeking a talented Wireless Network Engineer to join our team for an exciting opportunity to work on our NIH-CIT proposal. This position offers a remote/hybrid working environment, allowing you to perform effectively from the comfort of your own home while contributing to a significant mission.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring high availability and quality of wireless network services. Your specific responsibilities include:

Deliver optimal availability and quality for wireless network services.
-
Engage in daily stand-ups and apply the kanban methodology to efficiently triage and resolve incidents and problems within set SLAs.
-
Work under the direction of senior engineers to take on shift lead duties, ensuring escalated issues are assigned and actively managed to expedite resolutions.
-
Conduct proactive measures including network monitoring, analysis, maintenance/patching, and comprehensive documentation.
-
Propose suggestions for continuous improvements regarding communications, customer relations, tools, technology, and equipment.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, a Bachelor's degree along with 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent is required.
Required Skills and Experience

Clearance required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred Skills and Experience
-
CCNA/CCNP certifications are highly preferred.

Salary Range
