WHO YOU ARE:

Software Engineers play a key role in the design, development/configuration, unit testing, installation, and ongoing maintenance of Zinnia's software platforms. Zinnia Software Engineers work with stakeholders to develop solutions and/or products that fulfill the needs of Zinnia internal stakeholders and clients. Those solutions and/or products help Zinnia and Zinnia clients to be more efficient and provide better service to end customers. Software Engineers interact directly with project leaders, business stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Work as part of a global, cross-functional team to develop innovative software for Zinnia stakeholders.
  • Contribute to projects by creating well-designed, customized, testable, efficient code for company platforms.
  • Assist our teams in providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, improvements, or custom enhancements to existing company platforms.
  • Collaborate with our global teams and internal stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in technology, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Ability to develop software in C++, C#, DotNet Core, etc.
  • Experience developing with Web technology - Angular 13 +, React, Typescript, HTML, Javascript
  • Extensive Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, etc).
  • Experience developing and deploying in a cloud-native environment
  • Working knowledge of common DevOps tasks (Environment provisioning, CI/CD Pipelines, and application monitoring).
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a cross-functional, global team.

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.

The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate; it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive salaries that align with the individual's skills, education, experience, training, and geographic location.
