Job Description:
Drone Operator Role
- This position is in search for a skilled Part107 certified operator with extensive experience operating drones via a Remote Control.
- The qualified candidate will act as an operations specialist assisting in the development and test of cutting-edge safety related technologies.
- The role includes mission planning and lightweight maintenance duties.
- The candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, a safety-oriented attitude, flexibility, and enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology.
- This individual will also conduct limited operation readiness activities and logistics planning as needed.
- The role will also require cross team training to support teams such as (but not limited to) delivery sites for pre-launch tasks.
- The candidate will join a Research and Development team working on inventing and developing new transformative experiences.
- 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
- 2+ years of Remote-Control pilot experience with excellent coordination and execution
- Employees must, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to lift up to 50 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Experience leading small teams
- Travel up to 75% of the year
- Valid Driver's License and able to satisfy clienr driver eligibility criteria
- Work in volatile weather conditions (heat, rain, wind, snow) all within the established safety thresholds
- Drive to offsite work locations daily (work vehicle will be provided)
- Work variable shifts and schedules including weekends when applicable.
- Overtime may be required and approved based off od work assignment.
- MVR test need to be added to the Accurate background check- drug is not needed
- R and D program- changes every
- They can possibly start as early as 3 am and end as late as midnight
- Possible weekends especially if traveling
- 5 day a week- currently crews start at 1:00 and ends at 8:30 but this can change ; 8 hour shift
Conversion- possible
Role interesting:
- Gaining experience within the team with possibility to grow and meet outside specific locations
- Experience with commercial UAS industry
- Aviation safety experience as a Safety Officer or similar
- Excellent business communications and reporting skills
- part 1o7 license needed- drone pilot
- Bachelor's (preferred, but not required)
Attendance as there are attendance issues
