Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate Shipside Operations Specialist (Level 2) to support the Boeing Salt Lake (BSL) team in West Jordan, Utah.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent operational issues and support implementation of strategies and plans
  • Conduct process assessments against standards, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Adapt effectively to changes in work tasks, structures, and culture while encouraging innovative problem-solving and facilitating change acceptance
  • Plan and organize work by involving stakeholders, anticipating critical events, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion
  • Apply knowledge of an array of manufacturing and assembly processes, shop safety (including FOD, ESD), and quality standards to support operations
  • Collaborate with various Operations and non-Operations departments to understand interdependencies and drive effective outcomes
  • Develop solutions for moderately complex problems by applying established policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Represent the organization in interactions with internal teams and external customers on specific projects
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data
  • 1+ years of experience implementing Lean methodologies and productivity improvements
  • Proficient Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends, if required
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ year of leadership experience
  • 1+ year of flight line operations experience
  • 1+ years of experience working with Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $68,700 - $83,500
