Wait Staff – Dining Services

Status: Non-Exempt | Reports to: Dining Room Manager

At St. George Village , we believe dining is more than just a meal — it’s an experience. We are looking for friendly, reliable, and service-oriented individuals to join our Wait Staff team. If you enjoy working in a welcoming environment and take pride in providing exceptional service, this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do

As a member of our dining team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our residents and guests enjoy outstanding meals in a comfortable setting. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Providing warm, professional table service for residents and guests, including food and beverages.

  • Setting up, serving, and breaking down dining rooms and special events.

  • Performing opening and closing duties as assigned.

  • Bussing tables, food running, bartending, or hosting when needed.

  • Following sanitation, safety, and cleaning protocols to maintain a safe and organized dining area.

  • Assisting residents with seating, reservations, and point-of-sale transactions when covering hostess duties.

  • Communicating concerns promptly to supervisors and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations.

  • Ability to work with older adults in a respectful, caring manner.

  • Reliability and willingness to take on a variety of dining service tasks.

  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.

  • Flexibility to assist with different roles (serving, bussing, bartending, hosting, dishwashing) as needed.
