In this exciting position, you will work diligently behind the scenes to implement top-notch customer service practices throughout our stores. If you’re looking for a chance to showcase your leadership skills, this role is for you As the Hospitality Assistant Manager, you’ll oversee customer experiences while ensuring our standards in inventory, preparation, promotion, production, service, and sales are consistently met. You will also step in to lead day-to-day operations in the Store Manager's absence.

RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

  1. Support the Store Manager by participating in the recruitment, selection, training, and performance management of your team.
  2. Play a key role in staffing and scheduling decisions.
  3. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly.
  4. Monitor compliance with Sheetz policies, procedures, and programs among team members.
  5. Follow up on feedback from customer service shops, quality audits, secret shopper reports, and surveys.
  6. Ensure our customers leave happy by overseeing efficient transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding hospitality standards at all times.
  7. Check daily tasks to ensure nothing is overlooked.
  8. Maintain well-stocked shelves through effective placement, pricing, and replenishment of merchandise.
  9. Take charge of profit management by supervising processes including shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendor relations, car wash operations, and retail waste management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two-year degree in a business-related field preferred.
  • Successful completion of certification testing as required.

Experience

  • One year of supervisory experience in fast food, restaurant, retail, or convenience operations preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • ServeSafe certification.
  • Any other legally required certification.
