Locum Tenens Opportunity: Neurologist near MILLERSVILLE, MD Are you a dedicated Neurologist seeking a fulfilling locum tenens assignment? We have an exciting opportunity near MILLERSVILLE, MD, to cover a temporary vacancy in our Neurology Department during a restructuring period. Job Details Specialties: Neurology Department: Neurology Start Date: ASAP End Date: February 29, 2024 Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Department Restructuring Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day Providers Requested: 1 Provider Title: Neurologist Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Call Only EMR System: Epic Will Facility Accept Multiple Providers? Yes Practice Setting: Inpatient Is Both Inpatient and Outpatient Required? No Does Provider require hospital/surgery center privileges? No Admissions Required? No Are temporary privileges available? Yes Is Hospital Stroke Certified? Yes Patients Per Shift: 10-15 Bed In Department: 220 Rounding: Both Practice Details Does your Facility require physicians to be board certified? Yes Fellowship: N/A Minimum Board Certification: Certified The Following Certification Are Required: ACLS: No BLS: No Description/Other Details Rounding/consults/EEG - In House Rounding in the morning, followed by emergent consults and routine follow-up in the afternoon. Primary Stroke Center Certification, level II trauma center. Looking for a neurologist who is collaborative and provides excellent patient care. Largo is the main hospital, and two ED's in Bowie/Laurel will be call consults if any.
