Job Description Position Title: Senior Administrative Assistant Contract Period: 3-month contract (November 3, 2025 - February 6, 2026) (Renewable) Sector: Energy (Offshore Drilling) Location: Hanover, MD (Hanover, Maryland) Pay & Bill Rates Position Summary: The Senior Administrative Assistant supports projects, programs, and departmental operations, reporting directly to the OTECH Office Manager. Key Responsibilities: Essential Duties: Schedule appointments and travel Prepare expense reports and meeting materials Manage communications, supplies, and mail Assist with presentations and database updates Cover main switchboard as needed Occasional overtime may be required Additional Duties: Other tasks as assigned Reporting Structure: Reports to: OTECH Office Manager Supervisory Responsibilities: None Qualifications: Required: Associate's degree or equivalent experience (10 years total office experience; 3 years supporting executive-level managers) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with Windows-based email and data systems Strong math and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading Independent, organized, and reliable team player Desired: Experience with DoD travel regulations (JTR, DTS, GSA rates) Proficiency in PeopleSoft and ERP systems Knowledge of web-based conferencing tools Working Conditions: Indoor office environment Stable work surface Close proximity to others Controlled climate Physical Requirements: Light Work Classification: Occasional: Lift up to 20 lbs; climbing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, reaching Frequent: Lift up to 10 lbs; standing Constant: Sitting with back support; repetitive arm and hand movements With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
