INTAKE SPECIALIST - FRONT DESK
LOCATION: Ypsilanti, MI
JOB TYPE: Full-Time | On-Site
PAY: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm | 40 hours per week

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a professional and reliable Intake Specialist / Front Desk Associate to be the first point of contact for job seekers and support our recruiting and compliance team. This role combines administrative front desk duties, candidate intake and onboarding, and coordination of interviews and hiring documents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Open and prepare the office daily
  • Answer phones and check voicemail
  • Greet walk-in candidates and assist with the intake process
  • Upload and organize applicant information in the applicant tracking system
  • Follow up with candidates via text or phone from various job boards
  • Schedule interviews for qualified applicants
  • Assist with onboarding, including collecting documents and drug screening
  • Scan and upload documentation into internal systems
  • Verify I-9 documents and process E-Verify
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming front office environment

COMPLIANCE & DOCUMENTATION
  • Maintain accurate employee files
  • Ensure hiring documentation meets all legal and company standards
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in front desk, staffing, or administrative support preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic data entry skills; experience with payroll systems a plus
  • Positive attitude and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
