The role
Reporting to the Production Leadership Team, the Group Lead (Supervisor) is responsible for leading and developing a team of production associates while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations in the mixing, filling, and packaging of chemical products. This role will be based on-site in Elk Grove, IL.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
• Supervising, coaching, and training production associates on shift
• Performing laboratory testing of finished products per work instructions
• Monitoring production procedures through hourly/daily management systems
• Reviewing and resolving equipment issues and escalating when necessary
• Enforcing plant safety standards and ISO compliance
• Tracking team performance using data entry and analysis tools
The essential requirements of the job include:
• Associate's degree or higher OR 5+ years of supervisory experience in chemical manufacturing
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word); knowledge of Oracle, ADP, OBIE a plus
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $30.00 - $32.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
