PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - 13 Week Contract

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends, call, or holidays required.

Job Description

The PACU Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care and support for patients recovering from surgery or anesthesia. Responsibilities include monitoring patient recovery, managing pain control, and ensuring a smooth transition to inpatient care.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess patients in post-anesthesia care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families.
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for recovery.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU or similar setting.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • MUST work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve).
