Job Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate nursing care in a variety of post-acute care facilities near you
  • Monitor and check vital signs such as blood pressure, respiration, and pulse
  • Assist residents with daily activities including toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary living environment
  • Observe and report resident conditions during your shifts
  • Facilitate communication among residents, healthcare staff, and family members
  • Transport residents safely within the facility, using wheelchairs when necessary
  • Engage with residents and provide companionship
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certifications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing procedures
  • Strong organizational and observational skills
  • Effective time management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
