Required Skills
We are looking to hire a Manual Tester with 6+ years of work experience with at least 5+ years of hand-on experience with Web Application Testing. The tester will be working in a fast paced mission driven public sector project, providing them an opportunity to learn and enhance their skills. An eligible candidate must have the following skillsets:
• Hands on Experience with Database testing with strong SQL knowledge in writing complex SQLs.
• Experience in testing REST and SOAP services using JAX-WS/RS a minimum of 2 years' experience.
• t least 3 years of Experience in writing test cases using ALM tool and need to possess good understanding of all ALM Modules
• t least 3 years of Experience using JIRA, JAMA or related JIRA plug-ins as the defect tracking and test management tools.
• t least 3 years of Experience running batch jobs in Linux to validate Interface files.
• t least 3 years of Experience with Agile methodology.
• Candidate must have some automation background, working on some of the automation tools like UFT, Selenium, PlayWright.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral and ability to easily interact and make presentations to the team and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented and a team-player.
A strong candidate would also be able to demonstrate their competency in the below areas:
• Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) to test and ensure that quality standards are met.
• Experience with HHSC legacy data, databases and applications.
• More than three (3) years of experience in quality assurance of projects in the Human Service/Eligibility domain, such as SNAP, HEAP, PA, Child Care, Fair Hearings, Reports, Analytics, or Financial Management.
