About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technical Specialist with deep technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components. This individual is not a retail counterperson but a hands-on technician who understands diagnostics, repairs, and advanced vehicle technologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about automotive innovation and committed to delivering high-quality service and technical support for the call center team.

As an Automotive Technical Specialist, You Will...

  • Understand advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical, HVAC, suspension, and infotainment.
  • Interpret and utilize technical service bulletins, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools and codes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide feedback on vehicle performance and reliability.
  • Support call center teams to understand DTC codes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of the process.
  • Review and update knowledge base cards/process.
  • Review calls and provide feedback.
  • Help with technical training.
  • Be flexible to any ad-hoc task, both technical and non-technical.
As an Automotive Technical Specialist, You Need...
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems.
  • Proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
