Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist, you will design and implement personalized therapy programs that assist clients in recovering their mobility, alleviating pain, enhancing strength, and preventing deformities. You will conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to provide effective interventions for clients impacted by injury or disease. Your role will involve documenting clients' conditions, creating therapeutic plans, and educating clients and their families about treatment options and home exercises.

You will work with clients of all ages and adapt your treatment methods according to their specific needs, staying informed on the latest research to enhance your practice. You should be prepared to interact with various stakeholders outside of the department, including healthcare providers, case managers, and public organizations. Additionally, you may have supervisory responsibilities and will be expected to contribute to staff training and department promotions.

This position may involve working in post-acute, long-term care, and home health care settings.

Qualifications

  • Required education level in accordance with state licensure.
  • Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
  • A valid driver's license may be necessary for certain roles.
  • Must acquire and maintain required competencies and certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers within the first 60 days of employment.
