Position Overview

The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Manager will oversee the governance for onboarding third-party vendors, ensuring their performance and compliance are monitored effectively. This role involves leading a team of associates who conduct daily operations, building strong collaboration with various departments including Risk Groups, Legal, Vendor Service Owners, and Sourcing. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Risk Management, the TPRM Manager will also have opportunities to work on special projects across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, measure, and report on operational and third-party risk management issues.
  • Ensure thorough risk assessments are completed for third-party risk onboarding and due diligence.
  • Lead a team in day-to-day operations including vendor onboarding, contract management, ongoing monitoring, and terminations.
  • Assist Vendor Service Owners with due diligence documentation and evaluations of third-party relationships.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of issue management specific to third-party partnerships.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation regarding third-party risk in the TPRM Software System.
  • Utilize the TPRM Software System for risk analysis and reporting requirements.
  • Advise business leaders on effective management of changes as necessary.
  • Oversee ongoing monitoring activities aligning with TPRM policies.
  • Deliver training materials and guidance on Third-Party Risk Management initiatives.
  • Enhance risk mitigation controls in collaboration with other risk functions.
  • Review and ensure compliance of contracts with regulatory requirements.
  • Support vendor termination processes to ensure they are executed properly.
  • Continuously enhance the TPRM program to adapt to industry changes and compliance demands.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in third-party risk management or a related field.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles and proven ability to lead a team.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a proficiency in interpreting contracts and compliance documentation.
  • Effective communication skills for writing reports and collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • A willingness to learn new technology systems and tools.

Work Environment: The work environment is generally quiet, conducive for focused activities.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • This role necessitates primarily sedentary activities and prolonged periods of computer use.
  • Visual ability to clarify various distances and focus as needed.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.

Salary Range

The salary for this position is expected to range between $100,700 - 155,100 based on your experience and location.
