Job specification

  • Deliver comprehensive pediatric healthcare services to children and adolescents.
  • Collaborate with department physicians and refer patients to specialists as appropriate.
  • Conduct health histories, physical examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement and peer review initiatives
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions, including preventative and therapeutic care.
  • Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population
Candidate requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and an approved pediatric nurse practitioner program. Possess a valid APRN license in the state of Connecticut. Minimum of 1 year of experience as an APRN preferred; new graduates welcome. Eligible or currently licensed to prescribe controlled substances in Connecticut (DEA and state registration). Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency with EHR systems and accurate clinical documentation. Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process. Spanish language skills preferred.
