DEPARTMENT: General Surgery

THE POSITION

St. Lawrence Health is looking to hire full-time General Surgery Advance Practice Providers to support surgeons in outpatient surgery practice and to assist in the OR one day per week.

OFFERINGS:

  • Full-Time Base Pay Range: $100,000-$200,000*

  • Pay Summary: The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.

In addition to the base pay range, certain provider positions may be eligible for variable compensation in accordance with health system pay practices. This may include: productivity and/or value-based clinical incentives, bonus compensation, or other forms of variable pay.

EDUCATION:

BS: Physician Assistant (Required)

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), RPA - Registered Physician Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
