Description - What You'll Do
- Conduct a repertoire of essential and sophisticated clinical tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, and immunology while adhering to standardized protocols.
- Evaluate results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and carry out maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
- Document all laboratory procedures in detail, assist in training new personnel or students, and ensure adherence to high-quality lab standards.
- Uphold a clean and safe working environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree that prepares for ASCP/AMT certification.
- Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
- Maintain valid certification throughout your career with us.
