Join our dynamic team at Fast Pace Urgent Care as an X-Ray Technologist, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional clinical and administrative support to ensure the best patient care. Under the direct supervision of a Provider, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant, you will create a compassionate and welcoming environment for our patients while performing imaging duties with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support patient care duties as outlined in Nurse/Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist positions.
- Process and track x-ray orders promptly.
- Assist patients in achieving proper positioning for diagnostic imaging.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, especially regarding health information management, such as HIPAA.
- Review x-ray images for initial evaluation by healthcare providers.
- Label and document images accurately, ensuring all artifacts are addressed properly.
- Monitor x-ray equipment condition and assist in minor maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety protocols within the x-ray room to prevent contamination.
- Conduct patient triage, including recording vital signs and medical history.
- Provide essential support in clinical tasks, including but not limited to blood draws and injections, as applicable.
- Facilitate a welcoming environment for new employees and support their training process.
- Promote a positive atmosphere through effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to company standards.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Licenses and Certifications: ARRT License, State License (for Registered Technologists), and qualifications must be active and in good standing.
- TB and IV Certification to be acquired within 60 days if relevant to your state.
- Educational Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional experience preferred in clinic or urgent care settings.
- Prior roles in direct patient care will influence level evaluations within our organization, fostering your growth as an X-Ray Technologist.
