Summary: The Installer assists the Crew Chief in various weatherization related projects

Education:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent, Trade, Tech School or apprenticeship accepted Completion of trade school or an apprenticeship program that includes on-the-job training.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Five years experience working as a carpenter in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting.
  • Weatherization experience is desired.
  • A current valid SC driver's license is required in order to operate any company vehicles.
  • Have working knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.
  • Must possess OSHA 30 certification.
  • Must be willing to travel to any and all job sites without exception (including staying away from home if necessary).
  • Able to occasionally lift and carry 50+ lbs. is required
  • Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, work at heights, and walk/work in unpleasant conditions.
  • Must be able to work the hours necessary in order to achieve the goals of the company.
Special Skills:
  • Posses Safe Work Practices
  • Understand building science principles
  • Possess a Valid SC driver's license
  • Able to work in very hot/dusty conditions
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Good Customer relations skills
