Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform ultrasound procedures accurately and efficiently, assist with patient transport, and handle clerical tasks as needed. Your role includes providing preliminary interpretations of exams and working weekends, holidays, and on-call as necessary based on department needs. You will support our hospital’s mission, demonstrating behaviors aligned with our core values and strategic goals.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Executing routine and invasive ultrasound procedures using stationary and portable equipment throughout the facility.
• Providing exceptional care to patients of all ages.
• Maintaining extensive knowledge of departmental equipment and troubleshooting operational issues.
• Training staff in essential job functions and evaluating their performance.
• Exhibiting strong communication skills and coordinating varied tasks effectively.

Qualifications Required:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate from an accredited program in Ultrasound.
• Current RDMS or specialty certifications (e.g., Abdomen, Obstetrics & Gynecology) or vascular credentials (RVS or RVT).
