Description - Your Role
  • Conduct an array of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various fields including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
  • Analyze results meticulously for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
  • Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of all procedures, train newcomers or students, and contribute to the maintenance of lab quality standards.
  • Uphold a clean and safe working environment while strictly following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
Certifications
  • Achievement of ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
  • Maintain active certification for the duration of employment.
