The hotel recently went through a full renovation and is located in a vibrant area of Overland Park near the Convention Center, shopping, and restaurants.

Must have prior Hotel Management experience. Prior IHG experience is highly desirable, but not required.
Job Summary: Operations Manager:We are seeking a dynamic and highly personable Operations Manager to create memorable guest experiences. This role is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the Front Office, Restaurant, and Bar, with occasional assistance provided to the Housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build strong relationships with all guests and staff. A critical component of this position is the proactive identification of short, medium, and long-term operational issues and working directly with the General Manager to formulate sustainable solutions.
OPERATIONS MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fully responsible for all aspects of all departments.
- Support and work with all Head of Departments in all aspects of running this hotel.
- Ensure the premises are in operative condition as per category of the unit to receive & serve the guests.
- Conduct regular operations team meetings daily / weekly to discuss routine operational matters.
- Ensure SOP implementation in all departments and check the same during routine operational checks.
- Monitor the purchase requisitions of each department, the accounts receivable and the accounts payable
- Inspecting all departments for SOP implementation.
- Inspecting all department with their respective Manager's for cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture.
- Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction and service recovery process.
- Identifying staff learning needs and assisting with development.
- Providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informally.
- Monitor and maintain operation & overhead cost in order to maintain maximum revenue to the organization.
- Be on available on call 24 hours a day to resolve any urgent problems on emergencies.
- Any other duties assigned.

- To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have hotel experience, Marriott and Lightspeed experience strongly preferred.
- Self Directed and Motivated.
- Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
