Position: Class A Driver / CDL A Driver 
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46202
Compensation: $1,250–$1,450 per week

Position Summary
CK Transportation is seeking dependable CDL A Drivers in the Indianapolis region who want consistent weekly home time and dependable, dedicated routes. This position is ideal for drivers who value structure, stability, and a predictable driving schedule. Our freight is no-touch and aligned with routes that support steady mileage and efficient planning, allowing drivers to maintain strong weekly performance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Safely operate assigned sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions while hauling refrigerated or dry van freight.

  • Manage assigned routes that follow consistent patterns and scheduled delivery windows.

  • Maintain compliance with DOT standards, company safety expectations, and all recordkeeping requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure timely updates and support accurate load planning.

  • Uphold professional standards during customer interactions and throughout daily driving operations.

Driver Requirements
This role requires a minimum age of 21 and a valid CDL A license. Experience can be met through several pathways: 3 months in the past 6 months, 6 months in the past year, 1 year in the past 2 years, or 1.5 years in the past 3 years. Experience hauling trailers at least 40 feet in length is preferred.

Home Time and Route Structure
Drivers can expect reliable weekly home time designed to create balance and predictability. Dedicated scheduling provides a consistent pattern of deliveries, reducing uncertainty and supporting stable weekly performance.

Equipment Standards
Our fleet consists of trucks no older than three years, maintained for both safety and comfort. Drivers operate modern sleeper units and work with refrigerated and van trailers suited for dependable, no-touch operations.
