This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. As a CBRE Mobile Maintenance Technician, you will perform reactive repairs and preventative maintenance to several buildings in your general area for one of CBRE's local retail clients. M-F Approx.7:00-3:30/ 8:00-4:30 , No mandatory on-call, all tools provided, Company vehicle etc.

What you'll do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and light repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry along with other basic building repairs. (Including HVAC preventative maintenance.)

• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.

• Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.

• Complete all work in proper alignment with building codes and safety laws.

• Use interpersonal skills to exchange straightforward information in a clear manner.

• Professionally respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.

• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having the opportunity to exercise discretion.

• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

• Required to maintain a Valid Driver's License. (In good standing)

• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information in a clear manner.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

• Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

The minimum salary for the Building Maintenance Technician position is $60,000 annually, and the maximum salary for the Building Maintenance Technician position is $67,250 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
