University Health Truman Medical Center
Many UHP physicians have teaching responsibilities for residents, fellows, and medical students. The UMKC SOM accepts students directly out of high school for a six-year combined baccalaureate/Doctor of Medicine program. The UMKC SOM Graduate Medical Education program supports over 30 residencies and fellowships.
UH is known as "Kansas City's Essential Hospital" and is the safety net healthcare system for Jackson County/Kansas City, MO. UH is an academic medical center, serving as the primary teaching institution for the UMKC Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. Job Description

This is an ideal position if you are a recent neurology residency graduate or a neurologist in private practice desiring a transition to academic medicine.
