CLIENT/DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Accreditation Council (EUFAC) was created to provide subspecialty fellowship program accreditation for Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowships.
In order to achieve the mission of providing accreditation to programs, EUFAC evaluates applications for accreditation using published accreditation standards. EUFAC represents a coalition of Emergency Medicine organizations with a common goal of quality subspecialty training in Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography (AEMUS).
JOB OVERVIEW:
Helps ensure success of Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography (AEMUS) fellowship accreditation by: Working with Executive Director to analyze needs and engage subject matter experts in the customization of the application portal; facilitating annual questionnaire creation and data collection; taking the lead to research and manage feasible solutions for custom reporting, website and security upkeep; working with Executive Director to determine ways for continuous improvement to ensure consistency and quality in the Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography (AEMUS) accreditation process.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (20.0 hours/week):
- Work with Executive Director to identify and implement improvement projects to better accreditation experience and ensure consistency
- Collaborate with subject matter experts on the implementation and testing of process updates in the online application system
- Develop reports to track accreditation decisions and historical data for future reference
- Become familiar with EUFAC's custom application portal to spot and address issues, and work with subject matter experts to implement and facilitate annual processes (i.e., Annual program questionnaires, application updates)
- Attend and provide support for EUFAC virtual and in-person meetings
- Manage upkeep and security measures for EUFAC informational site
- Work with subject matter experts to manage integration of EUFAC portal data into Nimble AMS
- Every three years, provide support for the review and update of Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography (AEMUS) program requirements as required by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
- Provide backup for the Executive Director when needed
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate is a self-starter, thriving in a small-team non-profit environment. Not afraid to dig into technical aspects with attention to detail when testing process updates. Awareness to identify areas for improvement based on user behavior and ability to research and present solutions for consideration. Strong communication skills with adaptability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders (technology professionals, physicians, administrative staff).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience in related field. Computer proficiency, outstanding organizational and communication skills. Experience with Drupal, Nimble, and reporting software or willingness to learn to be able to communicate with subject matter experts and determine most effective software solutions for organization.
TRAVEL REQUIRED:
Approximately 1 week per year.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a part-time position located in our office in downtown Milwaukee, WI and a minimum of two days onsite in the office (including Wednesday as an all-staff-in-office day) are a requirement of the role.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Light lifting, bending, may occasionally be required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Attendance at accreditation review meetings (virtual), and travel to 1-2 in-person meeting(s)/year is required.
