Position Overview

We're seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with both residential and commercial experience to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. You'll travel to customer sites, diagnose problems, and deliver high-quality service that keeps our clients comfortable year-round.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, rooftop units, ductwork)
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant circuit issues using gauges, multimeters, and pressure testers
  • Conduct system performance tests (airflow, temperature differentials, static pressure) and adjust settings for optimal efficiency
  • Identify and explain necessary repairs or upgrades, providing clear estimates and recommendations to customers
  • Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory logs, and time sheets in our field-service software
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and refrigerant-handling regulations (EPA Section 608 certified)
  • Mentor junior technicians and apprentices as needed
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
  • Valid HVAC EPA Certification; additional NATE certification preferred
  • Proficient with electrical controls, refrigeration cycle theory, and mechanical diagnostics
  • Comfortable working on roofs, ladders, and in tight mechanical rooms
  • Strong customer-service skills, professional appearance, and clear communication
  • Reliable driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background/fingerprint check
