Plant Project Engineer

Opportunity to join an expanding Global Manufacturing Leader, participating in the Engineering Group as the Plant Project Engineer. You will provide project support to manufacturing plants for equipment upgrades, continuous improvements, and building expansions. Offers excellent salary, bonus, benefits, and relocation options.

Responsibility:

--Access manufacturing capacity and the need to upgrade facilities/ equipment to meet regulatory requirements and process improvements.

--Improve plant proposals and develop cost effective solutions. Prepare and submit request for implementation of selected solutions.

--Prepare and submit requests for equipment (major and minor) replacements and additions.

--Manage all project of selected equipment upgrades and new equipment, from generation of basic engineering through final commissioning.

--Manage projects budget and schedule. Coordinate project activities with Maintenance turnarounds.

--Monitor and analyze repetitive manufacturing problems. Determines the root cause for manufacturing failures and initiate equipment or procedural changes to correct the problem.

--Prepare, review, and approve production records including maintenance procedures, operating procedures, JSA's, and change requests as required.

Qualifications:

--BS Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years experience as Capital Project Engineer working in manufacturing plants.

--Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

--Diversified knowledge of cross disciplined engineering projects including mechanical, chemical, electrical, and civil.

--Experience managing projects >$1MM

--Ability to work now and in the future without sponsorship.
