Position Summary

Delivers functional Infor training to end users in the areas of Infor Warehouse Management (WMS), Service Parts Processing (SPP), Order Management (OM) and other ERP modules where applicable. Deliver hands-on classroom Infor training starting in Ypsilanti, Michigan and across other North American locations. Consult with local and regional leadership on training preparation, data for live training exercises, class schedules, training progress and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Infor WMS, SPP, and OM training courses on-site in Ypsilanti, MI
• Deliver instruction for all levels within an organization including plant employees, warehouse employees, professionals, executives, managers, supervisors power users, end-users, trainers, staff, and customer service representatives
• Connect well with students and end users to ensure they are prepared and ready to do their jobs with the new software systems
• Use a simulated warehouse work environment (Warehouse-in-a-Box) to teach hands on system tasks using demonstration, RF handheld equipment, coaching, and exercises
• Consult with local and regional leadership for class preparation, administration, logistics, and training evaluations
• Setup live training environments and training data for exercises
• Support the review, editing, and updating of training materials, as needed, for customizations and localization between multiple warehouse locations
• Partner and collaborate with Super Users on training strategies and effective training delivery ideas
• Deliver, evaluate, and test all training materials including instructor and end user manuals, presentations, simulations, flow charts, job aids, work instructions, quick reference guides, data sheets, exercises, quizzes, and tests
• Deliver training and guide SMEs and end users in software testing - from planning, scenario creation and test execution through user acceptance
• Create test scripts for building training data and scenario testing

• Professional trainer with extensive ERP experience including WM, SPP, OM, and others
• Preferred Infor WM experience or SAP and Oracle WM experience
• Great teaching and training delivery skills, less ERP consulting skills
• Consistently rated excellent by students and clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of IT, business related software, MS Teams, WebEx (or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent relationship building skills with key SMEs and Super Users
• Ability to travel and teach on location MON-FRI in 2-3 week durations
• Starting location is Ypsilanti, MI but other NA locations are scheduled across the next 1-2 years
• Proven ability to use a combination of humility, communications skills, trainer skills, and humor to create an energetic and dynamic learning environment
• Proven ability to connect well with people and possess great listening skills

• Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent with professional designation or Infor/Other ERP Trainer Certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years Infor or similar ERP software training experience
• Past project experience in manufacturing, parts distribution, and warehouse management is preferred
• Ability to provide at least 3 past references from students or clients engaged on ERP training projects
