Salary: $100k - $130k per year

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator to strengthen our internal IT systems. This role is a hands-on position where you will manage key technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Microsoft 365, and core networking components within a dynamic professional services environment. We value individuals who are eager to take ownership of projects, promote stability, and collaborate directly with IT leadership to drive system advancements and modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Manage VMware vSphere/vCenter environments, including resource tuning and high availability.
  • Support and configure Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online and Teams.
  • Assist on the network administration, managing VLANs, VPNs, and routing/switching.
  • Handle firewall configuration and remote access, with an emphasis on SonicWall expertise.
  • Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for intricate systems and infrastructure challenges.
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, cloud integration initiatives, and security enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of hands-on Systems Administration or Engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Proficient in managing VMware vSphere/vCenter in production settings.
  • Experience with managing Microsoft 365 in a hybrid Active Directory environment.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals like TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Ability in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail in documentation.

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience with SonicWall, Cisco, or Meraki networking.
  • Background in professional services IT (legal, finance, consulting, etc.).
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, etc.).

Work Arrangement:

This position requires 4 days onsite / 1 day remote each week. Due to the nature of the role, which involves direct support to end users and firm systems, we cannot accommodate fully remote or hybrid schedules.
